Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) is a resin extracted from the bark of the frankincense tree and has been known for centuries in various cultures. The characteristic components of the resin are the so-called boswellic acids, a group of triterpene acids that can be present in the extract in varying concentrations.
The Bosflex® frankincense extract offered by Kraftgras is standardized to a content of 70% boswellic acids. This means that each capsule with 500 mg of extract mathematically contains approximately 350 mg of boswellic acids. This standardization ensures that the composition is comparable from batch to batch. The product comes in convenient capsule form and is suitable for daily dietary supplementation.
